Selection and Nomination of Mr. Abid Hussain Chandio as Patron, Sindh

In accordance with the mutual consultation and joint decision taken on 22 August 2026 by the Central and Provincial Leadership of APCA Pakistan (Shaheed Saqi), and in view of the proposed provisions relating to the Council of Patrons under the Constitution 2026, presently under formulation, it is hereby notified that:

Mr. Abid Hussain Chandio

has been selected and nominated as Patron, APCA Pakistan (Shaheed Saqi), Sindh, until further orders.

The Patron shall provide guidance, advice and support in the best interests of all employees and pensioners, without discrimination or distinction, including those serving in Federal and Provincial Government Departments, Autonomous Bodies and Educational Institutions.

The Patron shall provide guidance on matters concerning the rights, welfare and legitimate interests of employees and pensioners, including pay and allowances, service conditions, promotions, pension and retirement benefits, grievances, welfare, career progression and other matters affecting employees and pensioners.

He shall also contribute his experience, knowledge and wisdom to the Provincial Leadership on important organizational and policy matters and, where necessary, promote unity, equality, consultation, reconciliation and consensus for the collective welfare of employees and pensioners.

The role of Patron shall be advisory and guiding in nature and shall be exercised in accordance with the Constitution and Bye-Laws of APCA Pakistan (Shaheed Saqi), the Constitution of Pakistan and applicable laws.

This selection and nomination shall take immediate effect and remain valid until further orders or until a decision is taken by the competent organizational forum.
